As parents, you are your child's first educator, and we hope to work in partnership with you to offer your child the very best start to their education.
We aim to give your child as many valuable experiences as we can, and to provide opportunities to learn from our environment and from each other.
Results have shown, that children learn best when they are happy, we believe this to be true. We also believe that learning should be fun, and fun will be at the heart of whatever we are aiming to achieve.
Our nursery provides an educational, safe, caring and stimulating environment where children learn through play and grow in confidence and self-esteem and become happy independant members of our nursery community. We want each child to feel special and their achievements valued at all levels.
We follow the early years foundation stage framework in accordance with Ofsted guidelines. Our curriculum is structured and balanced, and takes into consideration individual interests and development. Each takes into consideration individual interests and development. Each session is carefully planned and implemented by staff who are trained to work with young children. Careful observations of the individual child ensure staff provide the opportunities for children to acheive the possible next steps in their learning. Staff are continually finding ways to support your child so they can reach their full potential.
All children have full access to the curriculum so they can develop their
creativity, mathematical understanding, language and literacy, physical and
personal and social skills and to extend their knowledge and understanding of
the world. Our nursery provides the environment and opportunity for children to
develop their curiosity, persistence, cooperation, communication skills and
pleasure in learning.
